Mohave Ratz Corporation (MRC) is a 501(c)3 organization dedicated to finding loving, forever homes for rats in need. We are in Mohave County, specifically located in Kingman.
We are a no-kill rescue that accepts any domestic rat, regardless of health, age, or temperament.
We were founded in 2025, and it is our mission to rehabilitate and find homes for rats in need. Rats are fun pocket pets that are amazing and deserve the best homes.
At this time, we are only a one home rescue, but we plan to add foster homes in the future if needed. If you are interested in being a foster home, please send us an email and we will add your contact information. We still have to work through the legal process and issues before having foster homes.
MRC plans to train foster volunteers so they may provide food, housing, medical care, and socialization to their animals. This will allow the pets to become wonderful companion animals before a permanent adoption home is found.
Humane euthanasia is only performed after careful consideration and only if it is in the best interest of the animal. Animals that are deemed to be unadoptable due to age or health conditions enter the Sanctuary Program or will are placed in specially trained foster homes.
